How to use Red Packets

After successfully setting up a CCB e-CNY Wallet, eligible customers can view
e-CNY Red Packets in the “Red Packets” page under the “Service” section of the e-CNY App

Tap the “Service” icon to view your Red Packets
In the “Service” section, tap “Coupon” to view your “redeemed Red Packets”

How to Add Value to your e-CNY Wallet

Simply top-up via the CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App

Tap “Top-up”
After inputting the top-up amount, select FPS Payment and then tap “Pay”
Select CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App to top-up
Log on the CCB (HK&MO) mobile app to complete the top-up
Once the top-up is completed, return to the e-CNY App

How to Add a Credit Card to your e-CNY Wallet

You can add Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards to your e-CNY Wallet for spending

Under “Payments” page and enter the amount you wish to pay, then tap “Pay”
Tap “Pay”
Tap “Use a New Card to Pay”
Enter the relevant credit card information and click “Add”
A 3% handling charge may incur for each transaction made by credit card. The fee and interface are for reference only, and the latest information of e-CNY App shall prevail.

Remarks:
  • Customers who register for the e-CNY promotion must:
    1. Be an existing customer of China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited (“CCB(Asia)” or “Bank”) who successfully registered for the mobile banking service of CCB(Asia) (“Mobile Banking Service”); and
    2. have successfully opened an e-CNY Wallet with CCB with a Hong Kong mobile number starting with the area code “+852”; and
    3. the mobile number registered for the Mobile Banking Service must be the same as the mobile number used for opening the CCB Wallet
  • The e-CNY Promotion is only applicable to eligible customers who successfully register via the CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App within the promotion period. The registration record of the Bank shall prevail. Upon successful registration, eligible customers need to also register as users of e-CNY with the same registered mobile number and set up CCB e-CNY Wallet to redeem Red Packets.
  • Regarding spending with the Red Packets: the Bank will only return the consumed Red Packets upon consent received from the merchant for the means of a full refund or partial refund. The remaining balance for the spending will be refunded to the e-CNY Wallet. If the refund request is made after the promotion period, due to invalidity of the Red Packets and according the related terms and conditions, the related Red Packets will be considered void and cannot be returned by any means.
  • If a customer cancels or closes his/her registered CCB e-CNY Wallet during the promotion period, he/she will be deemed as agreeing to forfeit his/her Red Packets. Any unused Red Packets will be considered void. Any unused and/or invalidated Red Packets will not be disbursed after reopening a Wallet.
  • Customers acknowledge, agree and authorise CCB (Asia) to collect and transmit their registered mobile number to CCB and the issuer of e-CNY (the PBOC) for the purposes of processing and disbursing the Red Packet into your CCB Wallet. Other terms and conditions as CCB (Asia) may specify from time to time in relation to the disclosure, use and transmission of personal information shall also continue to apply.
  • CCB (Asia) is not the issuer of Red Packets and assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any aspect relating to the Red Packets consumption.   • Customers can use their e-CNY wallet at merchants that support e-CNY payment.
