Step 1

Please download CCB (Asia) Mobile App

Step 2

Select the Credit Card/Loan page and "+" in the service function,
and then click "Octopus Automatic Add Value Service"

Step 3

Select a credit card that has not enabled the Octopus Automatic Add Value Service yet.

Step 4.1

Insert Octopus number and reload amount (by default as HKD500)

Step 4.2

Read and confirm the Terms and Conditions

Step 5

Enter one-time password

Step 6

If the application is successful, you may click "Continue" to link to the Octopus mobile app to activate the Automatic Add Value Service.

Earning Bonus Points Automatically
Same as usual spending with the credit card, you can earn bonus points
when your Octopus being auto-reloaded, enabling you to accumulate bonus points and redeem your dream reward even faster.
Please note:
  1. Use compatible Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled Android device / iPhone 7 or newer with iOS 13 or above to activate AAVS Function via Octopus App.
    OR
  2. Customers, who do not use CCB (Asia) Mobile App to apply for Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, will receive an activation notification by mail once your AAVS application is approved. Customers may choose to activate the AAVS function within the activation period stated in the activation notification by using compatible Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled mobile device to activate the AAVS function in the Octopus App; or bring along the activation notification, your identification document and the registered Octopus in person to any Customer Service Centres at MTR stations to activate the AAVS function.
