Terms and Conditions for CCB (Asia) TRAVO Mastercard - "TRAVO Rewards" ("the Programme")

  1. THE PROGRAMME – This Programme is only applicable to principal cardmembers (“Cardmember(s)”, “you”) of TRAVO World Mastercard and TRAVO Mastercard (“Eligible Card(s)”) issued by China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited (“the "Bank", "we", "us" or "our").
  2. PROMOTION PERIOD – the Promotion Period of this Programme is from June 30 2025 to December 31 2025 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  3. REGISTRATION – Cardmembers are required to register through the Online Banking or CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App during Promotion Period once only. Cardmembers (“Eligible Cardmembers”) will receive a Registration Confirmation email within 2 working days after successful registration. If a Cardmember has more than one Eligible Card, successful registration with one of his/her Eligible Credit Cards will automatically be applied to all other Eligible Cards under his/her name. If you made the transactions with various Card accounts, eligible transaction amount will be combined and counted cumulatively.
  4. MEMBERSHIP – All privileges under this Programme will be effective on the second working day after your successful registration until you call or write to us to cancel the registration of this Programme. The effective date as indicated on the Registration Confirmation email (“TRAVO Rewards Membership Effective Date”) shall be final.
  5. PRIVILEGES – Eligible Cardmembers can enjoy the below listed privileges.
      i. “EXTRA BONUS POINTS ON FOREIGN CURRENCY SPENDING”
      a) FOREIGN CURRENCY SPENDING REWARDS - From your TRAVO Rewards Membership Effective Date until the end of the Promotion Period, eligible transaction will receive 10 times bonus point rewards (10 times bonus point reward has included the basic bonus points given under Bonus Points Reward Programme) ("Foreign Currency Spending Rewards"). Each Eligible Cardmember can receive a maximum of 400,000 bonus points for extra 9 times bonus points during the Promotion Period (excluding basic bonus points).
      b) ELIGIBLE TANSACTIONS FOR FOREIGN CURRENCY SPENDING REWARDS – Posted transactions with original sales slip or official payment record conducted in currency other than in Hong Kong Dollars made by Eligible Cards will receive Foreign Currency Spending Rewards. All transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are converted from the transaction currency into Hong Kong Dollars and charged to the Eligible Card account based on the exchange rate adopted by Mastercard, as applicable, on the date of conversion. In addition, all transactions effected in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars are subject to a foreign currency conversion fee (representing the charge imposed by Mastercard on the issuer of the Card) and an overseas transaction fee, in such amounts as set forth in the Fee Schedule.
      c) INELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS FOR FOREIGN CURRENCY SPENDING REWARDS – The following transactions types ("Ineligible Transactions") are not eligible for Foreign Currency Spending Rewards, including but not limited to:
      1. Cash Advance
      2. Electronic Fund Transfer via credit card
      3. "Cash Out" Installment Programme
      4. "Chill" Spending Installment Programme
      5. settlement of finance charges, late charges and other fees and charges
      6. settlement through personal online banking service for bill type of insurance loan repayment to insurance company
      7. bill payment through personal online banking service to category Banking and Credit Card Services or Credit Services
      8. tax payment
      9. the followings transactions referenced to the merchant code(s) defined by Mastercard from time to time
        1. gambling transactions
        2. quasi cash transactions (including at non-financial and financial institution(s))
        3. top up of e-Wallets or fund transfer (including but not limited to WeChat Pay, Alipay and PayMe)
      10. credit card transaction is posted but subsequently cancelled, reversed or refunded
      11. unposted transactions
      other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time Any bonus point that credited for ineligible transaction(s) may reversed without prior notice.
      ii. “EXTRA BONUS POINTS ON LOCAL DINING”
      a) LOCAL DINING SPENDING REWARDS - From your TRAVO Rewards Membership Effective Date until the end of Promotion Period, eligible transaction will receive 5 times bonus point rewards (5 times bonus point reward has included the basic bonus points given under Bonus Points Reward Programme) ("Local Dining Spending Rewards "). Each Eligible Cardmember can receive a maximum of 100,000 bonus points for extra 4 times bonus points per Eligible Cardmembers during the Promotion Period.
      b) ELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS FOR THE LOCAL DINING SPENDING REWARDS – Posted transactions made by Eligible Cards at restaurants and dining merchants effected in Hong Kong Dollars will receive Local Dining Spending Rewards. The Bank define the eligible transactions for local dining spending rewards by taking reference of the merchant codes issued by Mastercard from time to time.
      c) INELIGIBLE TRANSACTIONS FOR LOCAL DINING SPENDING REWARDS – the following transactions types ("Ineligible Transactions") are not eligible for Local Dining Rewards, including but not limited to: Transactions made in respect of banquet services, private functions, private room events, dining outlets in hotels / food courts / supermarkets / department stores / associations / clubhouses, and the food and beverage services provided by designated merchants of other spending categories, credit card transaction is posted but subsequently cancelled, reversed or refunded, unposted transactions and other categories as we may at our sole discretion determine from time to time.
      Any bonus point that credited for ineligible transaction(s) may, without prior notice, be reversed without prior notice.
      iii. “ADVANCED BONUS POINTS REWARDS”
      a) ADVANCED BONUS POINTS REWARDS - From your TRAVO Rewards Membership Effective Date until the end of Redemption Period, you can enjoy Advanced Bonus Points Rewards and can advance bonus points for rewards redemption (the “Advanced Bonus Points Rewards”)
      b) REDEMPTION PERIOD - From June 30 –December 31, 2025 (“Redemption Period”)
      c) REDEMPTION - Bonus points from Advanced Bonus Points Rewards are only applicable to redeem rewards items under Bonus Points Reward Programme (excluding cash rebate) and Terms & Conditions of “Bonus Points Reward Programme” apply. Any redemption request is irrevocable and may not be changed or withdrawn once submitted to us. Bonus points from Bonus Points Reward Programme / Advanced Bonus Points Rewards (if applicable) can be used to redeem rewards and the bonus points required for redemption will be deducted from the Bonus Points Rewards Account automatically. Any bonus points deducted for redemption will not be returned.
      d) MAXIMUM BONUS POINTS – The maximum bonus points that can be advanced under Advanced Bonus Points Rewards is 450,000 per Eligible Cardmember within each Redemption Period, the bonus points under Advanced Bonus Points Rewards are not transferable.
      e) REPAYMENT PERIOD – Any bonus points from Advanced Bonus Points Rewards must be fully repaid on or before January 31 in the next year after redemption or upon cancellation/termination of Bonus Points Rewards Account (disregard of cancellation reason) (“Bonus Point Repayment Period”), whichever is earlier. If Cardmembers cannot repay the advanced bonus points within Bonus Points Repayment Period, the outstanding advanced bonus points will be charged within 1 month after the expiry of Bonus Points Repayment Period or upon cancellation/termination of Bonus Point Reward Account (whichever is earlier) from the Eligible Card Account at HKD1.2 per 100 advanced bonus points (outstanding balance less than 100 advanced bonus points will be rounded as 100 advanced bonus points) without prior notice.
  6. POSTING OF REWARDS – Foreign Currency Spending Rewards and Local Dining Spending Rewards will be credited to the Bonus Points Rewards Account of Eligible Cardmember who have successfully registered the Programme directly within next calendar month after the transaction is posted.
  7. ACCOUNT STATUS – The Bonus Points Rewards Account should be valid and in good standing (as determined at the Bank discretion) at the time when the bonus point rewards are given. Please refer to terms and conditions of Bonus Points Reward Programme for details of Bonus Point Rewards Account (“Bonus Points Rewards Account”).
  8. SUPPLEMENTARY CARD – Spending by supplementary cardmember(s) of the Eligible Card(s) during the Promotion Period will be treated as made by principal cardmember(s) of the Eligible Card(s)for the purpose of the Programme.
  9. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Terms and Conditions of Bonus Points Reward Programme applies.
  10. OUR RECORD PREVAILS – Our records of your TRAVO Rewards and all our decisions regarding cash rebate shall be final and binding upon you (unless there is an obvious error).
  11. KEEP SALES SLIPS – You have to keep all original sales slips or official payment records of the Eligible Transactions. In case of dispute, we may ask you to provide these slips, records, and/or further evidence for inspection and we may keep them.
  12. RIGHT TO VARY, ETC – We reserve the right to vary the Programme and/or these Terms and Conditions, or to replace, cancel or withdraw the Programme, at our discretion at any time without giving you prior notice.
  13. FINAL DECISION – We retain the final decision in any differences or disputes under the Programme, and shall not be responsible or liable for any claims or liability resulting from any Cardmember's participation in the me howsoever suffered or incurred.
  14. ENGLISH VERSION PREVAILS – In case of any inconsistency between English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
