Online Transaction Verification Service
Simply verify the transaction through Mobile Banking via biometric credential authentication or mobile token password, providing a more convenience and secure way than verify by “One-Time Password”.
Step 1
A pop-up screen with instruction to open CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App for verifying your transaction will be displayed after making a purchase and payment at merchant’s online shop.
Note: Please do not close or exit the merchant’s payment page.
Step 2-1
Authenticate the transaction via
any one method among the 3 ways – Method 1
Tap the instant push notification sent by the Bank to log on Mobile Banking for transaction verification; or
Note: Customers are required to enable push notifications in the mobile banking to receive real-time transaction verification alerts during online transactions.

Authenticate the transaction via
any one method among the 3 ways – Method 2
In CCB (HK&MO) Mobile App, click “Authorize Transaction” directly on the homepage; or

Authenticate the transaction via
any one method among the 3 ways – Method 3
Click “Authorize Transaction” under “Credit Card/Loan” tab after logon to Mobile Banking.
Step 3
Please check the transaction details carefully and click “Confirm”.
Step 4
Verification is completed. You can return to the merchant’s online shop to complete the transaction.
If you do not have CCB (Asia) Mobile Banking or have not activated the mobile token, you will need to receive a “One-Time Password” via SMS for authentication.
Suspend Credit Card Account
If you discover any suspicious transactions on your Credit Card account, or suspect it may have been stolen, you can suspend your Credit Card at any time to safeguard the security of your account.

- Credit Card/Loan > Credit Card Management > Temporary Suspension / Reactivation of Credit Card

Credit Card Over-the-Limit Facility
If you want to avoid spending beyond your credit limit, or desire more flexible spending, you can choose whether to accept the Over-the-Limit Facility service or not.

- Credit Card/Loan > Credit Card Management > Over-the-Limit Facility

Change Credit Card Limit
Dealing with unexpected large expenses, but your credit limit is insufficient? You can temporarily or permanently increase your credit limit to meet your needs. Additionally, you can also decrease your credit limit at any time.
